Amy was found abandoned and caring for her nine puppies and was taken in by local rescuer Veronica Lebron. All of Amy's puppies were adopted to new homes many months ago, but she was left behind. Amy is friendly with all the people she has met and gets along well with male dogs, but she can be more impatient with female dogs. She is very food motivated and has already learned several commands! Is Amy the girl for you?
Angel arrived to our team at Clinica Veterinaria Mi Mascota under the expert care of Dra Agnielis Feliciano. He spent the night hooked up to an IV receiving fluids and vitamins. Angel is a large breed dog, but weighs only 38 lbs and is battling Heartworm, ehrlichia, anaplasmosis, a Hookworm infestation, severe anemia, diarrhea, and a stomach full of chicken bones completely obstructing his intestinal tract
Angel is currently is on antibiotics and supportive care to get his hemoglobin up, and surgical removal of the bones will likely be necessary to save his life. Please apply to foster Angel when he is ready for evacuation in the coming weeks.
